Sacramento County Housing Market Trends November 2021


November 2021 is a Seller's market! The number of for-sale listings was down 4.6% from one year earlier and down 25.3% from the previous month. The number of sold listings decreased 7.5% year over year and decreased 8.3% month over month. The number of under-contract listings was down 3.8% compared to the previous month and up 7.4% compared to the previous year. The Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales is 0.9, up 11.9% from the previous year.

The total number of properties available this month is lower by 163 units of 4.6%. This year's smaller inventory means that buyers who waited to buy may have a smaller selection to choose from. The number of current inventory is down 25.3% compared to the previous month
