There’s a fresh new reason to love Granite Bay: the brand-new Nugget Markets is officially open at the corner of Douglas Blvd. and Sierra College Blvd.!
We couldn’t resist stopping by to check out this exciting new addition. With its incredible selection of fresh produce, gourmet goods, and local favorites, Nugget Markets brings even more convenience and charm to Granite Bay living. Whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee, stocking up for a dinner party, or just exploring the aisles, this store is sure to become a community favorite.

Opening Day Festivities
Nugget Markets celebrated with a fish cutting ceremony, slicing into a massive 140-pound tuna and serving shoppers fresh sashimi and sushi rolls on the spot. Guests enjoyed plenty of samples and freebies, highlighting the market’s unique offerings.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Karen Carmazzi of Carmazzi Caramel Corn, a local vendor whose preservative-free, high-fructose corn syrup–free popcorn was a crowd favorite. And savings were everywhere! Clo the Cow from Clover Sonoma made a cameo appearance, taking photos with shoppers and handing out $4 off coupons for Clover milk (this week only!).
